In 2008 the owners of the Walthamstow Stadium sold it off for housing. The premier greyhound racing track in the country, a landmark for London and locally a major employer it was a tradgedy. The owners were only interested in the money and not concerned for the sport, they rejected out of hand an alternative bid from the dog owners. This was my response.
